According to a press statement, the service allows insured workers who suffer an injury at work or due to work to go directly to any of the 45 contracted medical facilities for immediate treatment. The service includes the Royal Medical Services, the Ministry of Health, and private sector providers listed on the SSC website (www.ssc.gov.jo
) under the electronic library section, ensuring high-quality and efficient medical care.

The SSC stressed that the immediate treatment service covers all work-related injuries until full recovery, with no treatment limits or costs borne by the employee or employer. Requests for the service must be submitted exclusively through the workplace liaison officer within three days of the injury to ensure a swift response and effective treatment process.

Since its launch, the service has simplified treatment procedures for injured workers, reduced financial and administrative burdens on workplaces, prevented the worsening of injuries, minimized health and professional impacts, and reinforced trust among employers and employees in the SSC’s ability to provide rapid and effective protection in workplace incidents.

The statement confirmed that the SSC will continue developing work injury insurance services and strengthen partnerships with the medical sector to provide safe and immediate healthcare for insured workers.
