Orange Jordan sponsors “X META CTF” Hackathon to enhance youth cybersecurity skills

Under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, Orange Jordan reaffirmed its role as a leading and responsible digital provider in the Kingdom by sponsoring the 6th edition of the “X META CTF” Hackathon, organized by Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) in collaboration with Royal Jordanian Airlines and its training arm, Jordan Aviation Training and Simulation Academy (JATS), at Queen Alia International Airport.اضافة اعلان

The event, held under the theme “Altitude Meets Attitude”, attracted over 100 young men and women from various Jordanian universities specializing in cybersecurity, engineering, and IT, alongside aviation and cybersecurity experts. Participants tackled real-world cybersecurity challenges in the aviation sector, competing to develop practical solutions leveraging the latest technologies and artificial intelligence, aiming to build a safer future for this vital sector.

Orange Jordan expressed pride in sponsoring the hackathon, emphasizing that supporting youth in cybersecurity and developing their skills forms a foundation for digital innovation. The company highlighted its commitment to providing inspiring learning environments that foster practical ideas to enhance aviation security and generate a positive societal impact.
