In a statement released on Wednesday, the Board emphasized that these events are part of ongoing efforts to expand the Kingdom’s tourism outreach in priority international markets. The strategy involves leveraging national occasions and global events to highlight Jordan as a safe, diverse destination offering exceptional experiences.
Global Reach and Key Locations
The promotional program includes introductory and cultural activities in several major capitals, including:
Europe: London, Rome, and Madrid.
Asia & Oceania: Tokyo, New Delhi, and Jakarta.
Americas: Brasilia (Brazil) and Ottawa.
Other Regions: Moscow and Algiers.
These activities are conducted in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Jordanian diplomatic missions to reflect the diversity of Jordan’s tourism offerings and engage international audiences.
Highlighting National Milestones
The JTB stated that the program features promotional displays, cultural shows, and interactive experiences that highlight Jordan’s identity and its archaeological, natural, religious, and wellness sites. Key focuses include:
National Celebrations: Promoting the Kingdom’s 80th Independence Day.
Sports Diplomacy: Leveraging the momentum of the "Nashama" (Jordanian National Team) participation in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
These efforts aim to enhance Jordan's modern image and solidify its position as a premier global destination.
