Amman Stock Exchange Closes Trading Higher

The total trading volume at the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) on Sunday reached JD 7.5 million, with 4.6 million shares traded through 2,916 contracts.

The general price index of shares closed today at 2,974 points, marking an increase of 0.29 percent.

Out of 89 companies whose shares were traded today, 33 posted gains, while 29 saw declines.

At the sector level, the services index rose by 0.27 percent, the industrial index increased by 0.21 percent, and the financial index gained 0.20 percent.
