Zelensky: Ukraine-U.S. Peace Talks Constructive but Challenging

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Sunday, ahead of his upcoming consultations with European leaders, that talks with U.S. representatives on a peace plan for Ukraine had been constructive, though not easy.اضافة اعلان

Zelensky held a phone call on Saturday with Steve Whitkoff, Special Envoy of U.S. President Donald Trump, and Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law. He is expected to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron, as well as the British Prime Minister and the German Chancellor, on Monday in London.

In his evening video address, Zelensky stated: “The U.S. representatives are aware of Ukraine’s key positions. The conversation was constructive, even though it was not easy.”
