Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, “The humanitarian truce has ended. The special military operation continues,” using Moscow’s official term for its invasion of Ukraine, which has now continued for more than four years.
The Kremlin also said it is still too early to discuss specific details regarding an end to the war, despite Russian President Vladimir Putin stating that the conflict is “approaching its end.”
Peskov said that the accumulated progress in the peace process allows Russia to say that the end may be drawing closer, but added that it is currently not possible to provide any concrete details.
