This latest surge in violence comes despite a U.S.-brokered ceasefire that has been in place for over five months.
Medics stated that Israeli aircraft attacked two police checkpoints in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, resulting in the deaths of three police officers and three civilians, including a girl, and wounding four others.
The Israeli occupation army has not commented on the latest attacks.
According to local health officials, the army has killed more than 680 Palestinians in Gaza since the ceasefire with Hamas took effect in November.
More than 72,000 people have been killed since the war began in October 2023. Israel is now also engaged in a war, alongside the United States, against Iran, while conducting a new campaign against Hezbollah that has seen Israeli forces sweep into southern Lebanon.
Violence in Gaza has persisted despite the ceasefire and amid the war between Israel and Iran. Health officials in the Strip say Israeli forces have killed at least 50 Palestinians since the conflict with Iran began a month ago.
