In a statement, the Authority said its crews in Nablus Governorate are following up on the receipt of the body of the martyr Qais Sami Jasser Allan (20), who was killed after Israeli forces shot at him while he was inside a vehicle on the road connecting the two towns.
Earlier, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that four citizens were injured after Israeli forces opened fire on their vehicle at the same location, noting that some of the injuries were described as serious.
The incident comes amid escalating Israeli attacks in Nablus, particularly in the southern villages and towns, alongside ongoing incursions and the firing of live ammunition at civilians and their vehicles.
Meanwhile, two Palestinians were injured by Israeli gunfire on Wednesday during an incursion into the town of Al-Dhahiriya, south of the city of Hebron in the southern West Bank.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said that two young men were wounded by live bullets and transferred to the Al-Dhahiriya Municipal Medical Center after clashes erupted in the town following the incursion.
In addition, Israeli forces arrested 19 Palestinians today during a wide-ranging campaign of raids and incursions across various areas of the West Bank. The campaign was accompanied by clashes in some locations, the storming of dozens of homes, and the abuse of residents, including detaining them for hours and subjecting them to field interrogations in the rain, as part of a broader arrest operation.
