Israeli occupation forces tightened their military measures on Sunday in the western area of the city of Salfit, setting up military checkpoints and obstructing the movement of residents.

Local sources told WAFA that occupation forces established a military checkpoint this morning at the entrance to the town of Deir Ballut, in addition to another checkpoint near the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, causing traffic congestion and hindering citizens’ movement.
The sources added that occupation forces also raided the village of Haris and the towns of Biddya and Qarawat Bani Hassan, patrolling their streets amid a heavy military presence, without any arrests being reported so far.
These measures come as part of the ongoing escalation carried out by occupation forces in Salfit Governorate, accompanied by daily restrictions and harassment that limit residents’ freedom of movement.
