Israeli occupation forces continued the closure of the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque for the fourth consecutive day.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that the Israeli occupation prevented worshippers from entering the mosque, citing the declaration of a "state of emergency." This comes amid a massive deployment of forces in the mosque's surroundings and at the gates of the Old City, as citizens were barred from entering its courtyards.

Occupation forces had initially shut down the mosque on Saturday morning, forcing worshippers to leave and preventing the performance of the Isha and Tarawih prayers.
Since Saturday, Israel and the United States have been conducting airstrikes on Iran, which led to the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Since then, Tehran has retaliated by striking Israel and several countries in the region with missiles and drones.
