Israel has arrested 7,490 Palestinians from the West Bank since Oct. 7

OCCUPIED WEST BANK — On Thursday, at least 40 Palestinians were detained in new Israeli occupation raids in the West Bank, according to the Prisoners’ Affairs groups. Four women were among the detainees, including one journalist, as stated in a joint statement by the Commission of Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner Society.اضافة اعلان

Most of the arrests took place in the cities of Ramallah, Tulkarm, Nablus, Jenin, and Qalqilya, the statement added, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported.

The new arrests have brought the total number of Palestinians detained by Israeli forces in the occupied territory since October 7, 2023, to 7,490, according to Palestinian figures.

At least 420 Palestinians have since been killed and more than 4,600 others injured by Israeli fire, according to the Health Ministry.
