Saree warned airlines that the Israeli airport was no longer safe for air travel, claiming the missile forced more than 3 million Israelis to seek shelter in bomb shelters.

He asserted that both American and Israeli defense systems failed to intercept the ballistic missile, which reportedly struck Ben Gurion Airport.

Earlier, Dana Abu Shamsieh, a correspondent for Cairo News reporting from occupied Jerusalem, confirmed that Ben Gurion International Airport was shut down for all departures and arrivals following the launch of a missile from Yemen toward central Israel, with reports of several injuries.

Abu Shamsieh also noted large explosions in Jerusalem and the West Bank, as sirens sounded across Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and West Bank settlements.

Previous Attack
In mid-April, Israel's Channel 12 reported that Ben Gurion Airport had also been temporarily closed after sirens were triggered in Tel Aviv and other central areas. At that time, the Israeli military detected two missiles launched from Yemen.
