The two ministers warned of the "catastrophic repercussions" of continuing the escalatory approach. They agreed to maintain close consultation between Cairo and Amman to restore peace and security in the region, in alignment with Arab efforts aimed at extinguishing the fires of war in the Arabian Gulf.
