Jordan clinches two gold medals at West Asian Championships

AMMAN — The Jordanian national athletics team on Monday won two gold medals at the West Asian Athletics Championships, organized by the Lebanese Federation of Athletics.اضافة اعلان

Issa Al-Jabali triumphed in the 3,000-meter race and Rana Al-Bakkar won gold in the javelin throwing competitions.

Jabali finished the race with a time of 8:59.95, just ahead of Iraqi Mustafa Khuzam.

Bakkar’s first place was secured with a 32.97m throw.
