At its annual “Made on YouTube” event in New York City, YouTube unveiled a new suite of AI-powered tools, including features that automatically turn raw footage into edited videos and convert dialogue into songs usable in Shorts. The company also integrated Google’s latest video generator, Veo 3, into its toolkit, opening new horizons for rapid and customized creative production.
Celebrating 20 years of growth, YouTube now hosts over 20 billion videos on its platform. CEO Neal Mohan highlighted that the company paid $70 billion between 2021 and 2024 alone, praising creators’ ability to “reshape culture and entertainment in unprecedented ways” amid the expansion of AI tools and increasing revenue opportunities for creators worldwide.
