Jordan heads to Greece for Beach Handball World Championship

AMMAN — A delegation of the national junior beach handball team headed to the Greek city of Heraklion on Sunday to participate in the second edition of the World Championships, which will be held from June 14 to 19. The national beach handball team’s qualification is considered historic for the World Championships, especially after it came in second place in the Asian Championship, which took place in Iran last March. Sixteen teams will participate in the upcoming World Championship. Jordan was drawn in Group C along with Spain, Greece, and Czechia.
