Dawani admitted to international taekwondo federation board

AMMAN  — Nadin Dawani won membership to the International Taekwondo Federation’s Board of Directors for the Asian continent during the general assembly of the international union, which took place through via video conference. Dawani who had previously represented Jordan at three Olympic games with the taekwondo national team, has succeeded in gaining one of the four seats reserved for the Asia on the board directors of the federation after receiving 61 votes.  In addition to Dawani, Ahmed Al-Zayudi from the UAE, and Jin Bang Yang and Kock Huyn Jong from South Korea, will also be on the board of the directors of the Asian Taekwondo Federation.  Nancy Al-Hindi also won membership to the federation’s board of directors in elections held on Monday.
