Soundstorm returns to Riyadh on December 11-13 with its biggest structural upgrade to date: a fully redesigned festival map featuring 14 distinct stages, each with a clear genre focus and purpose. The new layout transforms the event into a navigable City of Beats, helping fans move effortlessly between the East, West, North, and South districts.
At the center of the festival sits Downtown: the eye of the Storm. A city within the city, Downtown is a dynamic playground for food, fashion, and culture. It’s the district through which Soundstorm beats, acting as the central meeting point from which fans can head into every direction. It’s the easiest place to meet up, reset, and move toward the East, North, West, or South districts.
East forms the festival’s largest and most high-impact zone. This is where the biggest crowds gather, anchored by Big Beast, the iconic mainstage built for global superstars and peak-energy performances. Beside it, 6AG champions regional talent, giving Saudi and Middle Eastern artists a powerful platform within the Storm. East is simply where most people go when they want the biggest moments of the weekend
Moving into North, Soundstorm widens its creative spectrum with a district shaped around live music and different genres. Park brings band-led energy, while Mixtape becomes the home of hip-hop and R&B: raw, unfiltered, and magnetic. Brass adds groove-forward sets with live instrumental character, and Yard spotlights indie, alternative, and emerging artists. North is where fans go when they want variety and new discoveries.
On the opposite end, West becomes Soundstorm’s dance and techno district. Soundstorm West anchors the area with a steady stream of electronic acts, while Tunnel, Port, Plexi, Silk, Log, and Greenhouse each bring their own corner of the electronic spectrum: from EDM and progressive techno to house, disco, and harder techno. West is designed for people who want to dance all night, moving from stage to stage without breaking the rhythm.
Finally, South offers a different energy. This district focuses on ambient, slower, more atmospheric sounds, giving fans a place to breathe and recharge. Soundstorm South includes Neon, a glowing 360-degree tent, and Roog, an intimate space for deeper, slower-building electronic sets. South is the calmest part of Soundstorm, perfect between heavier sets or late at night.
Soundstorm 2025 takes place 11–13 December in Riyadh, introducing its most intuitive and audience-focused layout yet; a fully reimagined city of fourteen stages, each with a distinct identity and sound.
