CAIRO — Following a wave of speculation and concern regarding the health of legendary Egyptian singer Mohamed Mounir and his sudden departure abroad for treatment, sources close to the artist revealed that he has returned to Cairo after undergoing routine medical checkups in Berlin, Germany.

In exclusive statements to AlArabiya.net, Ahmed Al-Bandari, Mounir's business manager, clarified that the artist's trip to Germany was part of his regular medical follow-ups at a specialized hospital there to monitor his health.
Al-Bandari added that Mounir had recently experienced exhaustion due to intense, continuous work in the recording studio. This prompted his attending physician to advise him to rest, avoid strenuous effort, and travel to conduct the necessary routine tests.
Furthermore, Al-Bandari confirmed that Mounir is back at home in stable condition and is preparing to resume his artistic activities in the coming days.
He revealed that the artist is anticipating the release of his latest song, titled "Yehkou Fi Oodak Hakawi" (They Tell Stories of Your Grace), with lyrics by poet Mostafa Hadouta. The manager highlighted that the track will be released in two versions—one featuring a beloved Nubian rhythm—describing it as a new musical surprise for his fanbase.
