Aqaba — The city of Aqaba saw light rainfall this morning amid pleasant winter weather, while residents and visitors continued their activities as usual along the beaches and across the city.

The rainfall was among the first showers Aqaba has experienced at the start of the current rainy season, amid calm conditions and smooth traffic, with no reports of water accumulation or disruptions to movement and transportation in the city.
The rain showers added a different feel to Aqaba’s daily scene, with residents welcoming the rainfall with relief and joy, as it is one of the sights people in the city look forward to with the beginning of the winter season, particularly with moderate temperatures and continued activity along the beaches.
The beachfront areas saw a notable presence of residents and families, with some continuing to enjoy the sea and mild weather despite the light rain. The scene highlighted Aqaba’s distinctive weather, where winter conditions can coincide with seaside activities.
Commercial, service and tourism activity also continued normally across the city, while the rainy weather added a different character to the morning scene without affecting the usual pace of daily life in various parts of Aqaba.
