JBA kickstarts Palestine fundraiser

AMMAN — The Jordanian Businessmen Association (JBA) on Tuesday announced the launch of a campaign to raise money for the people of Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip.  JBA President Hamdi Tabbaa stressed the importance of enhancing the roles of the Jordanian and Arab business communities in supporting the Palestinian cause through increased cooperation. In a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, Tabbaa said that what the suffering of the Palestinian people at the hands of the Israeli occupation is what makes the cause a pan-Arab one that “must be defended by any means necessary”.
