Culture directorate hosts program on Arab life

AMMAN — The Karak Culture Directorate on Monday organized a cultural event, titled "The Life of the Arabs" to explore Jordanian life and the development of Jordan.اضافة اعلان

The program dealt with social, cultural, and heritage topics, customs and traditions, living patterns, and economic life in the city of Karak, across different periods.

Researcher, Youssef Habashneh, talked about the development of human life in Karak, and the area’s poetry houses, as well as local hospitality and other traditions.

Poets Salah Shamayleh and Ahmed Al-Hajaya also performed traditional and popular poems, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
