Toyota Gibraltar Stockholdings Ltd. (TGS), the Royal Automobile
Club of Jordan (RACJ) and Markazia Toyota, part of Markazia Group, have partnered to support road safety, improve the
skills of drivers and specialist personnel and expand local training and fleet
management capacity in Jordan.

The collaboration was underscored by the signing of an agreement
between TGS and RACJ on 23 August 2026, which Markazia Toyota attended
and supported as an RACJ member and sponsor.
The agreement merges TGS’s
international experience in training and fleet management, RACJ’s local
expertise in road safety and training and Markazia Toyota’s dynamic role
within Jordan’s automotive industry. Through this alliance, the three parties
seek to foster lasting professional skills and promote safer road practices.
According to the agreement, the TGS Fleet Services team will
assist RACJ instructors through a train-the-trainer approach, transferring
expertise and empowering local professionals to conduct training programs
independently and sustainably. RACJ will apply these skills in its own training
programs in Jordan, drawing on its experience and specialized training
facilities, while Markazia Toyota supports local implementation.
The training programs will cover drivers, trainers, supervisors,
technicians and fleet managers, with an emphasis on raising professional
standards across road safety, vehicle care and maintenance and fleet
operations. The approach highlights the importance of investing in people and
sharing knowledge in ways that produce tangible results that last beyond the
program’s duration.
Commenting on the partnership, TGS Road Safety Program Manager,
Daniel Hardy, said, “We believe the most sustainable investment any
organization can make is in its people. Our partnership with RACJ, and with the
support of Markazia Toyota, is an opportunity to build capability and prepare
local professionals who can pass that knowledge on and raise road safety
standards over the long term.
By empowering local specialists to become
trainers and champions of road safety, we help create lasting impact long after
the initial program has concluded."
For his part, RACJ President[SH1] ,
Walid Saleh Zaki, added, “The agreement represents an important milestone in
RACJ’s journey to strengthen its role as a distinguished regional center for
road safety training.
By working closely with TGS and Markazia Toyota,
we seek to improve the capabilities of Jordanian trainers and qualify them to
the highest international standards, thereby positively impacting the quality
of training services offered in Jordan and the region."

the Kingdom.
