The team’s participation reflects the bank’s ongoing
commitment to supporting community activities and events, as well as its
efforts to strengthen ties with various active national and cultural
institutions across the Kingdom.
The Imkan by Iskan volunteers participated in a variety
of festival activities, including interactive workshops and purposeful
entertainment sessions. These activities aimed to revive traditional folk
games, nurture children’s creative and intellectual skills, and encourage
families to participate in educational and cultural events that reinforce the
values of family and community cohesion.
The initiative underscores the commitment of Housing Bank
and its Imkan by Iskan program to promoting social solidarity and strengthening
the role of corporate volunteering in supporting initiatives that enrich
children’s environments and develop their capabilities, thereby creating a
positive and sustainable impact on the local community.
The organization of the 17th Childhood Festival reaffirms
Zaha Cultural Center’s dedication to children and youth, as well as its
commitment to providing safe and inclusive spaces that embrace diversity,
foster creativity and participation, and contribute to shaping children’s
personalities and developing their abilities.
As a national institution
established through high-level royal initiatives, the center continues to play
a leading role in nurturing talent and developing the skills of children, adolescents,
and youth. It does so through more than 350 programs spanning cultural,
educational, technical, athletic, and artistic fields, delivered across 25
branches throughout the Kingdom’s governorates.
The festival also serves as a platform for advancing the
center’s mission of fostering cultural and community cooperation, both locally
and internationally, by engaging embassies and various organizations and
offering interactive programs that provide children with opportunities to
learn, interact, and discover their capabilities.
