Central Bank Issues Ninth Treasury Bond Offering Worth JOD 100 Million
The Central Bank of Jordan, on behalf of the government, announced on Thursday the issuance of the ninth treasury bond offering for the current year, valued at JOD 100 million.

According, the maturity date of the current issuance is set for March 1, 2029, while the settlement date will be March 1, 2026.

Treasury bonds are considered long-term financing instruments with maturities ranging between two and twenty years. They include government treasury bonds as well as bonds issued by corporations.

Treasury bills, on the other hand, are short-term government debt instruments issued with maturities ranging from three to twelve months. They are regarded as low-risk financial instruments and are actively traded in financial markets through buying and selling.
