The total number of payment transactions conducted through eFAWATEERcom since the beginning of 2026 has reached 13.11 million, with a total value of JOD 2.63 billion.

According to the monthly report issued by Jordan Payments and Clearing Company (JoPACC), the number of users of the system increased in February to 5.13 million, marking a 0.9% rise compared to January’s 5.09 million users, while it stood at 5.4 million in December 2025.
The number of active users reached 5.09 million, representing 99.1% of total users, while new users totaled 43,500, accounting for 0.9%.
The report indicated that the number of billers on the system rose to 698, while the number of available services reached 2,388.
The number of transactions executed in February recorded a slight increase to 6.58 million, up 0.7% compared to January’s 6.53 million transactions.
The telecommunications sector continued to lead in transaction volume with 1.95 million transactions, followed by water and electricity (1.78 million), government services (1.52 million), e-wallet companies and payment service providers (540,000), finance and financial services (297,000), education (244,000), transport and travel (50,000), unions and organizations (48,000), gas and energy (33,000), and trade and services (26,000).
Digital payments maintained the largest share in February, totaling 5.33 million transactions (80.9%), compared to 1.25 million cash payments (19.1%).
However, the total value of transactions in February declined to JOD 1.24 billion, a decrease of 11.2% compared to JOD 1.39 billion in January.
Government services ranked first in terms of transaction value at JOD 755 million, followed by e-wallet companies and payment service providers (JOD 174 million), water and electricity (JOD 83 million), education (JOD 79 million), finance and financial services (JOD 58 million), telecommunications (JOD 32 million), banks (JOD 16 million), gas and energy (JOD 14 million), trade and services (JOD 11 million), and transport and travel (JOD 6 million).
In terms of value, digital payments reached JOD 1.07 billion during the same month, representing 86.2% of total payments, while cash payments amounted to JOD 170.8 million (13.8%).
The average transaction value via “eFAWATEERcom” in February 2026 declined to JOD 188, compared to JOD 213 in January.
