IMF: Middle East Conflict Tests Global Economy

Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Kristalina Georgieva, stated on Thursday that the escalating conflict in the Middle East is testing the resilience of the global economy.اضافة اعلان

In a speech delivered at an event in Bangkok, Georgieva noted that the conflict will impose new demands on policymakers everywhere and that the world may be entering a prolonged period of instability.

Georgieva added: "If this conflict persists for a long duration, it will clearly impact global energy prices, market sentiment, growth, and inflation. It will place new responsibilities on the shoulders of policymakers everywhere."
