Gold prices in the local market increased across various carats on Wednesday morning by 1.40 dinars per gram compared to Tuesday’s prices, driven by a global rise in the value of the precious metal.اضافة اعلان

The selling price of 21-karat gold — the most preferred by citizens — reached 67.30 dinars per gram for purchase from jewelry stores, compared to 65.30 dinars for selling.

According to the bulletin issued by the General Syndicate of Owners of Trade and Jewelry Shops, the selling prices per gram of 24-karat, 18-karat, and 14-karat gold for purchasing from jewelry stores reached 76.90, 59.80, and 45.40 dinars, respectively.

Globally, the price of gold jumped to an all-time high during Wednesday's trading, reaching $3,287 per ounce, amid a weakening U.S. dollar and escalating global trade tensions.
