Jordan’s exports of clothing, fertilizers, potash, and pharmaceutical preparations saw notable growth during the first five months of this year, contributing significantly to the rise in national exports during the period.

According to the Foreign Trade Report issued by the Department of Statistics and reported by the Jordan News Agency (Petra):
Clothing and related products exports increased by 8.8%, reaching JD 665 million by the end of May 2025, compared to JD 611 million in the same period last year.
Fertilizer exports rose by 8.5%, totaling JD 394 million, up from JD 363 million last year.
Raw potash exports increased by 4.8%, recording JD 198 million, compared to JD 189 million in the same timeframe of the previous year.
Pharmaceutical preparations exports grew slightly by 0.9%, reaching JD 233 million, compared to JD 231 million in the same period last year.
Meanwhile, declines were recorded in:
Jewelry and precious metals exports, which dropped by 16.8%, totaling JD 277 million, down from JD 333 million in the same period of the previous year.
Phosphate exports also fell by 4.5%, reaching JD 212 million, compared to JD 222 million in the corresponding period last year.
