The total number of apartments sold in Jordan during the first ten months of this year reached 30,714 units, marking an increase of 0.59% compared to the same period last year, which recorded 30,534 units, according to the monthly report by the Department of Lands and Survey.اضافة اعلان

According to Al-Mamlaka website, 3,190 apartments were sold in October, compared with 3,594 units in the same month of 2024, a decrease of 11.2%, and a 5.7% decline compared with September, which recorded 3,384 apartments.

The report indicated that the number of apartments larger than 150 square meters sold in the first ten months increased by 6%, totaling 13,834 units, compared with 13,087 units in the same period of 2024.

However, in October alone, sales of apartments over 150 square meters fell by 9%, reaching 1,427 units, compared with 1,569 units in October 2024.

For apartments smaller than 120 square meters, sales rose by 2% during the first ten months, totaling 9,434 units, compared with 9,231 units in the same period last year. In October, sales of these smaller apartments remained stable at 1,083 units, compared with 1,088 units in October 2024.

Sales of apartments ranging from 120 to 150 square meters decreased slightly by 4% during the first ten months, reaching 7,894 units, compared with 8,216 units in the same period of 2024. In October, their sales dropped 13% to 812 units, compared with 937 units in October 2024.

Earlier, on November 12, 2024, the Cabinet issued a decision exempting apartments larger than 150 square meters from 50% of registration fees, in addition to a previous decision exempting apartments smaller than 150 square meters from 100% of registration fees.
