Amman Stock Exchange Trading Value Reaches 6.5 Million Dinars

The total trading value at the Amman Stock Exchange on Sunday reached 6.5 million dinars, with 2.8 million shares traded through 2,413 transactions.

The general price index of listed shares rose to 3,427 points, marking an increase of 0.14 percent. The index for the financial sector increased by 0.18 percent, and the services sector rose by 0.15 percent, while the industrial sector index declined by 0.12 percent.

Compared with the previous closing prices of the 93 companies traded today, 24 companies recorded an increase in their share prices, while 37 companies saw a decline.
