The statement noted that the diagnosis was made on Friday after Biden experienced urinary tract issues.

"While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive, which allows for effective management," the statement read.

Biden’s presidential term ended on January 20, when Donald Trump was sworn in.
