Iranian Official: Second Round of Talks with U.S. to Be Held in Geneva on Tuesday

A senior Iranian official confirmed that the second round of indirect talks with the United States will take place in Geneva on Tuesday.

Swiss authorities announced on Saturday that a new round of negotiations between the U.S. and Iran will be held in Geneva, hosted by the Sultanate of Oman, which previously hosted the first round in Muscat earlier this month.اضافة اعلان

A spokesperson for the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, “Switzerland is ready at any time to make efforts to facilitate dialogue between the United States and Iran.”

He added, “Oman will host the U.S.–Iran talks in Geneva next week,” confirming that “Switzerland welcomes and supports these negotiations.”
