Israeli media revealed on Sunday that the United States has begun deploying additional fighter jets to the Middle East, a move reflecting the reinforcement of the US military presence amid escalating security tensions in the region.

According to reports, the deployment of the US fighter jets is part of measures aimed at supporting US forces stationed in the Middle East and boosting deterrence capabilities in light of rapid regional developments.
The Israeli reports did not disclose the number, types, or deployment destinations of the aircraft. Similarly, no official comment has been issued by the US Department of Defense (Pentagon) regarding these military movements.
The Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation (Kan) quoted an American source stating that the United States has indeed begun sending dozens of additional fighter jets to the Middle East.
This military build-up coincided with a warning issued by US President Donald Trump, in which he emphasized that the region could slide into a "wider conflict" unless Tehran is stopped.
The move comes at a time of mounting regional tensions, prompting the United States to reinforce its military posture to ensure the protection of its forces and interests, and to maintain the readiness of its troops to handle any potential developments.
Last June, Washington and Tehran signed a memorandum of understanding to end the war that began on February 28 with US-Israeli strikes on Iran. However, the United States and Iran have been exchanging strikes for several days, and Washington has reimposed a blockade in the Strait of Hormuz.
