Global COVID-19 cases top 263mn

AMMAN - The total number of global COVID-19 cases has surged to 263.4 million, as of Thursday, according to the Johns Hopkins University.

In its latest update, the University revealed that the global death toll has so far reached around 5.2 million

The website said that the United States is the worst-hit country with the world’s highest number of COVID-19 cases and deaths, followed by India and Brazil.
