The US supports
Jordan’s Economic Modernization Vision and the Public Sector
Modernization Roadmap under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah, US
Ambassador to Jordan Henry T. Wooster said in a press statement.

In recent months,
Jordan has embarked on crucial efforts to advance its economy and chart a path
forward for its citizens, the ambassador said.
The Kingdom “is
entering its second centennial with an ambitious national agenda, addressing
its economic needs inclusive of women, youth, and persons with disabilities
while modernizing its public sector to heighten efficiencies and improve
services,” Wooster added.
He said Washington
“reaffirms its unwavering commitment to Jordan and to King Abdullah’s
leadership as a strategic partner and force for peace in the region.”
Wooster said the US
“stands ready to support the Kingdom’s efforts in moving this 10-year vision
and second road map to reality”.
