Vaccinated persons exempt from PCRs upon arrival in Jordan

AMMAN — President of the Civil Aviation Authority Haitham Misto has announced that passengers holding COVID-19 vaccine certificates will be exempt from PCR tests upon arrival in Jordan.اضافة اعلان

He added, in an interview with a Jordan TV morning show Friday that those not vaccinated and are tested before leaving Jordan will not have to test in the destination country if their return journeys are within 120 hours.

He also indicated that Queen Alia Airport is used by between 600,000 and 1.1 million passengers per month, noting that in May 2019 it was about 800,000, to dwindle drastically in May 2020, to 11,000, and rise to 242,000 passengers during the same month this year.
