Two Amman hospitals raided for alleged tax evasion

AMMAN — The authorities on Wednesday raided two private Amman hospitals after receiving reports that the facilities are allegedly responsible for millions of dinars in tax evasion.اضافة اعلان

President of the Private Hospitals Association Fawzi Al-Hamouri said such busts are “routinely” carried out by the Income and Sales Tax Department.

A source told Al Ghad that specialized personnel confiscated computers from one of the hospitals, along with documents that will undergo auditing.
