Tourism Board promotes Jordanian tourism in China

AMMAN — The Jordan Tourism Board organized two mobile exhibitions in China during the past week, one in Beijing and the other in Shanghai, with the participation of the Jordanian Ambassador to China and a delegation from the embassy.اضافة اعلان

Abdelrazzak Arabiyat, the director-general of the Jordan Tourism Board, stated that the goal of conducting these activities in Beijing and Shanghai is to raise awareness and explore opportunities for cooperation with the Chinese side, as well as to showcase the latest tourism experiences in Jordan.

A total of 120 Chinese travel and tourism offices, Chinese influencers, and representatives from Chinese airline companies participated in the Beijing Road Show, while 75 Chinese travel and tourism offices, Chinese influencers, and representatives from Chinese airline companies participated in the Shanghai Road Show.

Spreading awareness
Arabiyat added that a detailed presentation was given highlighting the key aspects of Jordan's tourism products in both cities, introducing the Chinese tourism sector to the most important tourist experiences that can be enjoyed during a visit to Jordan.

He mentioned that Jordan will host a delegation of Chinese ‘key opinion leaders’ in September to highlight Jordanian tourism experiences and promote them through Chinese social media channels.

Jordan's Ambassador to China, Hussam Al-Husseini, welcomed the Tourism Board's delegation, praising the significant role played by the Board in China and global markets through continuous and diverse promotion efforts, which have clearly increased the number of tourists to Jordan this year.

Further meetings
During the exhibitions, meetings were held with representatives of major Chinese television networks broadcasting in Arabic, Which coordinated for specialized televised reports about Jordan's tourism products to be broadcast on their channels.

Meetings were also held with representatives of Chinese airlines to discuss opportunities for operating flights to the Kingdom. Additionally, one of the Chinese opinion leaders (KOL) provided a specialized presentation highlighting the beauty and diversity of the Kingdom, and many prizes were distributed through Lucky Draw to participants in both events.
