Senate President, Algerian ambassador talk cooperation

AMMAN —President of the Senate Faisal Fayez met Algerian Ambassador Mohamed Sherif Kourta on Thursday to discuss cooperation in various fields, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. During the meeting, Fayez noted the strong Jordanian-Algerian relations, which are based on mutual respect, calling for enhancing joint investment and trade and addressing all barriers hampering the development of bilateral economic ties. For his part, the envoy expressed his country's appreciation of the "high level of Algerian-Jordanian relations," stressing commitment to advancing ties to serve the two countries' peoples.
