AMMAN – The General
Security Directorate reported that
through surveillance and tips, 37 individuals involved in firearm discharges
were detained up until Thursday morning. Additionally, it has seized 38 weapons
as of Thursday morning, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.

During the same period, the
Directorate's traffic units have
issued a total of 3214 violations. These include 1047 violations due to
obstructive procession-like marches, 88 violations for reckless driving, and
2079 other violations linked to the ongoing celebrations.
Meanwhile, GSD has announced its continued vigilant
oversight in monitoring cases of gunfire incidents and apprehending those
responsible, as well as imposing stringent measures against vehicles violating
regulations. This effort coincides with the celebration of the announcement of
the
General Secondary Examination (Tawjihi) results.
