The project includes milling the existing asphalt surface and applying two new asphalt layers of 7 cm and 6 cm, in addition to road markings, traffic safety elements, and other essential works in accordance with international standards.

In cooperation with the Highway Patrol Department of the Public Security Directorate, the ministry will implement a traffic diversion plan along a 3-kilometer stretch from Shbeika to Al-Ashqaf, as follows:

The road will be divided into two lanes using plastic barriers. Work will begin on one lane while keeping the other open for traffic in each active work zone.

Once the first lane is completed, traffic will be shifted to the newly paved section, and work will begin on the other lane.

The ministry has prepared the diversion zones with all necessary safety measures, including warning and guidance signs.

The Ministry urges all road users to adhere to safe driving practices and to follow the instructions of on-site workers, the Public Security Directorate, and the supervising teams to ensure public safety and smooth traffic flow.
