Pakistanis urged to donate to flood victims

AMMAN — A gathering was held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Jordan on Sunday to show solidarity with Pakistanis during the wide-range floods that have submerged the country. اضافة اعلان

Pakistani Ambassador to Jordan Sajjad Ali Khan said during the gathering, “Today’s briefing is for Pakistani people and the losses and victims which these floods caused”, estimating the material losses at $10 billion.



The ambassador called on the Pakistanis who reside in Jordan to support and make contributions to their homeland in this “ordeal”.

The envoy indicated that the floods are covering more than 75 percent of the country, adding “any kind of aid will be of benefit to the Pakistanis.”

Those intending to donate can send their donations through the Pakistani bank accounts provided by the embassy, according to the ambassador.
