The Tourism Promotion Authority Director-General Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat said: "The government's recent decision will activate the tourism sector and contribute to stimulating all sectors."

The Ministry of Interior decided to facilitate procedures of entering the Kingdom, including lifting restrictions on citizens of Albania and Moldova so that they can get entry visas through diplomatic missions abroad or at a border post upon arrival without the need for prior approval.

The ministry also decided to allow tourist groups from Nigeria, the Philippines, Colombia, Pakistan, and Libya to enter the Kingdom without the need for prior approval, provided that they enter with a tourist group of no less than five people, with an approved tourist program, and an "approved manifest" with guarantees of departure from the tourist offices.
