On Saturday, Minister of Government Communication and official government spokesperson, Mohammad Al-Momani, expressed the government's pride in a free and responsible national press. He emphasized the important role journalists play in promoting the values of objectivity, credibility, and dialogue, and in reinforcing a culture of transparency.اضافة اعلان


In a social media post marking World Press Freedom Day, Al-Momani reaffirmed the government's continued commitment to supporting press and media freedom. He stated that efforts are ongoing to foster an environment that guarantees journalists the right to carry out their mission with full transparency and professionalism—within a framework of respect for the law and protection of national interests.



He noted that a free and responsible press is a fundamental pillar in building aware and cohesive societies. He praised journalism’s noble role in revealing the truth, raising public awareness, and enhancing trust and community engagement.

Al-Momani added that the role of free and responsible journalism is central to Jordan’s modernization and development journey.

On this occasion, he extended his appreciation to every journalist committed to the mission of honest and responsible reporting, and who continues to serve the truth and the homeland.

He wished all members of the Jordanian press a year filled with success and achievement, stressing that supporting journalism remains a national priority to ensure a better future for Jordan.
