Dr. Khaled Al-Bakkar, Minister of Labor, is leading a Jordanian delegation that includes representatives from the three social partners—government, employers, and workers—at the 113th session of the International Labour Conference 2025, held in Geneva from June 2 to June 13.اضافة اعلان

Delegates representing governments, workers, and employers from the organization’s 187 member states will address a wide range of issues of ongoing importance to the world of work. The conference will discuss the report of the International Labour Organization’s Director-General Gilbert Houngbo on "Jobs, Rights, and Growth."

The conference will also cover several topics, including protection against biological hazards at work, decent work in the platform economy—where the first discussions on standard-setting will take place—as well as an innovative approach to addressing the informal economy and promoting formal employment.

The Jordanian delegation, headed by Minister of Labor and Chairman of the Labor and Social Development Committee in the Senate, Senator Issa Murad, includes Senator Fadel Al-Hamoud, Senator Sharhabil Al-Madi, the Chairman of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry Engineer Fathi Al-Jaghbeer, the President of the General Federation of Jordanian Trade Unions Khaled Al-Fanatsah and his deputy Khaled Abu Marjoub, along with several heads of labor unions.
