Minister of Culture chairs renamed Jerash Festival Higher Committee

AMMAN — The Cabinet decided during a session on Sunday, chaired by Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh, to rename the Jerash Festival Higher Committee.  The new committee is headed by the Minister of Culture, and includes the membership of the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, the Minister of State for Governmental Follow-up and Coordination Affairs, the Minister of Youth, and the Mayor of Amman, according to Al Mamlaka TV.اضافة اعلان

The committee also includes in its membership former minister Adel Mahmoud Bani Mohammad as a representative of the local community of Jerash, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Interior, the Director-General of the Tourism Promotion Authority, the Executive Director of the Jerash Festival, the Mayor of Greater Jerash Municipality, and the President of the Jordanian Artists Association.
