Temperatures are expected to rise slightly on Wednesday, with mild weather prevailing across most parts of Jordan and relatively hot conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.
Clouds will appear at various altitudes, with a chance of scattered showers during the afternoon in limited areas of southern and eastern Jordan. Thunderstorms may accompany the showers at times. Winds will be moderate northeasterly, occasionally picking up.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, temperatures in eastern Amman will range between 27°C and 17°C, while western Amman will see 26°C and 15°C. Temperatures will range between 24°C and 13°C in the northern highlands, 23°C and 15°C in the Sharah Mountains, and 31°C and 20°C in the Badia. Plains will record 28°C and 18°C.
In the northern Jordan Valley, temperatures will reach 33°C, while the central Jordan Valley will see 35°C. The southern Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea are expected to reach 36°C, while Aqaba will record 35°C.
On Thursday, temperatures are expected to rise slightly again, reaching their seasonal averages. The weather will remain mild in most areas and relatively hot in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba. Medium- and high-level clouds are expected over eastern Jordan. Winds will be moderate northeasterly, occasionally becoming active and shifting to northwesterly in the afternoon.
