Media Commission halts controversial 'offensive content' decision

AMMAN — The President of the Jordanian Press Association, Rakan Al-Saida, said on Tuesday the Association reached an agreement with the Media Commission to halt procedures related to a circular it had issued on "offensive content and content of unknown origin”, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

Saaida agreed over the phone with the Media Commission president to hold a meeting to discuss the circular, noting to the importance and necessity of protecting media freedom currently.
