AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday met Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib at Al-Husseiniya Palace, a Royal Court statement said.
The meeting covered the deep-rooted bilateral ties and means to expand cooperation across all fields.
King Abdullah reaffirmed Jordan’s ongoing support for Lebanon and the Lebanese people.

The meeting also covered the latest regional and international developments, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause.
Moreover, discussions addressed the situation of Syrian refugees and the burden shouldered by host countries, as well as the need for the international community to step up its support.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, and Director of the Office of His Majesty Jafar Hassan attended the meeting.
